Test Track Re-Opening Date

Today Disney World have announced the re-opening date for test track: 22nd July 2025.

This attraction update will debut an all-new musical score, as well as new scenes that highlight technology making our cars smarter and our lives more fun.

See Through the “Eyes” of a Vehicle

One of the scenes demonstrates how vehicles employ advanced cameras and sensors to "perceive" their surroundings. Walt Disney Imagineers illustrated this technology using more than 29,000 points of light.

Although Test Track has consistently highlighted innovative and upcoming automotive technology, it also serves as a reminder of the essence of a road trip: enjoying quality moments with friends and family while appreciating the surrounding beauty of the world.

The Road Ahead 

The team is hard at work on the finishing touches (detailing the final details, if you will), getting the attraction green light ready.

In the coming weeks there maybe more news about special previews for cast members, Annual Passholders, Disney Vacation Club Members, Golden Oak residents and Club 33 Members alike to ride before the attraction officially reopens.
